The Missouri Local Training & Resource Center (MLTRC) is the home of both the LTAP and RTAP programs at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T). The two programs operate side by side in providing training and resources to local and rural agencies throughout the state of Missouri. The LTAP center has been housed at Missouri S&T since 2001 and RTAP since 2012. Both operate on funding allocated through the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT). LTAP is funded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) along with match funding from MoDOT. It serves local government agencies focused on road, bridge, and other infrastructure management and maintenance. RTAP is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and focuses on rural transit providers throughout the state.
