Overview
Chainsaw Safety course provides participants with the basic knowledge needed to work around chainsaws and wood chipper/shredder equipment. The course is designed for beginners as well as seasoned operators and is packed with video clips demonstrating a variety of topics from proper chainsaw starting techniques to proper methods of felling a tree. It also includes tips for trimming storm damaged trees. Attendees will learn how to properly use personal protective equipment and apparel, create a maintenance schedule for chainsaw equipment and prepare for an emergency situation.
